Our mission is to empower women and non-binary artists in grassroots music by sharing knowledge, building community, and supporting the DIY culture.

Representation is about visibility with intention

We make women and non-binary people in heavy music visible on purpose, because seeing someone like you doing the thing can genuinely shift what feels possible.

Participation and access is about more than encouragement

It’s about sharing what we know, opening doors where we can, and making the steps into the scene less confusing or gatekept.

Community is about connection in the broadest sense

Not just musicians, but gig goers, writers, promoters and enthusiasts too. A place where people can actually find each other, support each other, and feel part of something that isn’t fragmented or competitive.

Equity is important to us

This is about creating space for women and non-binary people in music without it being framed as exclusionary or anti-men. It’s about balance, fairness, and recognising where the gaps have been.

Collaboration sits underneath all of it

There are already promoters and platforms doing meaningful work in similar spaces. We’re not here to compete with them, we’re here to work alongside anyone who shares these values and wants to build something stronger together.
